Project Implementation through CBO (booklet)
UN Habitat Pakistan has implemented “Pakistan Settlements Flood Recovery Project” in frour Provences i.e. Balochistan, Khyber Pukhtunkhwa, Punjab and Sindh since early 2011 in the heavy monsoon rains of July 2010 that ravged the entire country, affecting more than 20 million people. The project consists of an integrated approach in delivery of interventions of shelter, water and sanitation, hygiene promotion and community infrastructure development. It was implemented directly with the affecte communities through “community implementation agreements”. This booklet briefly describes the process of working with the community towards the achievements of project objectives.
