Issues related to women’s access to water and sanitation of the urban poor in informal settlement  were documented and policy maker were sensitized on gender issues. Local people and municipal authorities received comprehensive training on different aspect of water , sanitation and hygiene sector as master trainers.  Safe water was supplied and water borne disease were reduced.
